where do i begin?




took MAS flight to Sandakan, Sabah...
reached there late in the evening...
damn dark wei...
had dinner with my dad's side of the family...
we call them (in hakka) :
eldest sister - tai gu
2nd eldest - ni gu
my father
younger brother - yi suk
2nd yunger brother - sam suk
youngest brother - se suk
if it's weird, too bad...
ate quite a lot...

stayed at yi suk/grandmother's house...
hadn't seen them for a lot time...
grandmother still rmbrs me! =')
she's still ok, only she cant see/walk well...
cousins : Augustine, Jonathan, Valerie, Bennerd, Michelle & one more i dunno who...
used Valerie's room for the stay...

went to the funeral parlour the next day...

he looks damn scary...
the place is on top of a hill...
very peaceful... =)
came back after dinner for prayers...
Sandakan slang is kinda weird but unique in a way that their english pronouciation is very different from us...

next day the same...
Valerie had school...
work up later than the rest...
ate breakfast and stayed at the house until they wanted to go to the parlour...
stayed at the parlour for the afternoon...
went to eat satay & ABC for tea...
it's better than the one in kl...

i love it!!!
went to pick mum up, went to the house, dinner, come back for prayers & to take pics...
they had a lot of candy and snacks on the table...

learned a lot abt my father's side of the family...
nicer, more interactive, more stuff to talk to than my mother's side...

thursday, day of the funeral...
had to wear white blouse with long sleves & black pants...
so fussy...
lucky i wore pants, if not i'll be the only one wearing skirt...
moved my grandpa into the coffin and put his stuff with him too...
then placed flowers and did prayers before proceeding to the church...
had to do one of the readings for the mass... o.0
cried during the last farewell...
grandma didn't cry but we can tell she was crying in her heart...
she sure misses him a lot...

then proceeded to the cemetery...
first time seeing a real live burial...
it was raining, even worse...
kesian the guys who buried grandpa, their shoes got muddy and wet...
after prayers and burial, they put the flowers that were sent by other ppl on top of the grave...
there's a lot although they gave each of us some to place onto it on our own...
lighted candles and 'decorated' the grave with it...
took pics of others, the grave and with the family...
my shoes were soaked with mud and water...
one excuse to buy a new pair of shoes... =P
rested the rest of the day at home...


the next day, heard sam suk talking to mum abt handphones and stuff...
the whole family was always together the whole week...
went out for breakfast with father, sam suk & se suk...
sam suk paid for everything if nobody proposed the meal or din pay...
how nice! =D
he went back alone first...
he came back with the new phones and gave it to us as a present!

was watching tv until the maid took out grandpa's stuff to clear...
saw a lot of pics & documents and stuff...
helped to sort out...
saw that they don't want the music sheets and stuff, so i said i'll take it home even though i dunno the songs...
the chords were the old version, so i'll need time to figure it out... =)
there were a lot of it... o.0
the papers were old and can easily be torn...
went out for a tour drive with my own family by my father...

after that spent the rest of the day figuring out how to pack the bags and stuff we got before prayers...

woke up like 6smth in the morning...
finalized the packing and stuff...
said goodbye to grandma and the maid...
went out for breakfast with the whole family except grandma, tai gu & ni gu...
went to the airport and spent the some time with them before boarding...
i'll miss them though...
had a mission to do :
find music sheets with the old chords but with more modern songs...
sure very hard to find de...

mum's aunt, uncle & cousin came down...
they stayed for the night...
the holidays were damn tired la...
didnt rest that well...






charged the new phone for 8hrs straight...
went to S.Parade at night to find the accessories for it...
manage to get the screen protector, pouch, memory card & a purse...
gonna pay back to my mum...
told her that i gave up fast foods for lent...
but she still went to KFC for dinner...
haiz...
ate the cheesy wedges only and i'm already full...

my diet's sort of working...
i don't see my weight decreasing...
but i feel that my jeans are looser la...
