Chemistry :
Alex brought us down to the lab for the experiment on 'reactions of group1 elements with water'...
when he demonstrated it, it looked damn awesome!!!!!!!
so i used my phone to record the potassium reaction he demonstrated...=D
when it was our turn to do it, i used my phone to continued recording...
after finishing, i hid under the lab table to take sel-ca of me wearing the lab goggles...
just after snapping the pic teacher came around...

as usual la this year...
but the thing is, for Matthew house F4 only got 6girls...
Chanell & Zhi Yin probably went 'qing ming'...
i got 4th for 100m, 3rd for 200m and got in for long jump...
i'm not in for 100m....

it's finally here!!!

went there by 7am and checked in with wei onn...
got our goodie bag and t-shirt...
in the bag there's another bag with the train tickets and answer sheet...
after changing gathered with the SMSM's f4...
while waiting for the briefing, yan wen said wanted to take pic...
in the end, din take...

during the briefing, the rules and blablabla were explained to us...
there were also a dance by the college's cheerleading team...
it was soon the under18 category's time to flag off!!!
we collected our booklet of Qs and got ready to start...
when the horn was sounded, SMSM f4 rushed off and we were in the lead...
there were marshals everywhere to guard and guide us as well as to make sure we stick to the rules...
there were different sets of Qs for each destination we have to go...
the sets of Qs are as follows :
~ MCKL - KL Sentral (walk)
~ KL Sentral (in the building)
~ KL Sentral - Ampang Park LRT(in the lrt)
~ Ampang Park - Bukit Nanas (walk)
~ Times Square (in the building, floors LG, G, 1, 2 and 3)
~ Hang Tuah
~ MCKL
quite an exercise isn't it???
we ran/walked as fast as we could, climbing up and down, using our brains like never before, teamed up with others...
and we all managed to check in by 1pm...

during the prize-giving, everyone in SMSM kept their hopes high in case they would win smth...

no one from our school got 1st or 2nd place...

but it was still fun...

got back our results!!!!!!!
teacher gave back our papers and we discussed in this order :
sectionB ---> sectionA ---> sectionC
competed with Aidan & Wei Onn while in the middle of discussing...
Me : 36 + 26 + 26 + (course work and stuff) = 88
Aidan : 36 + 25 + 25 + (course work and stuff) = 84
Wei Onn : 37 + 25 + 19 + (course work and stuff) =80

when i got mine, i closed it so that me and no one else could see it...
i saw my marks and got shocked!!!
hearing the others passing or failing, i didn't care...
Aidan saw me and asked how much i got...
i showed him and he just nodded...
he started teaching chp4 cause we're slow...
he didn't bother to discuss...
he said he'll discuss it next time, next time...
i looked at my paper, i didn't understand his markings...
i started crying...
Aidan saw me and said, "nvm la... you did your best..."
Clement also saw, he smiled and said "nvm... i failed too!!!"

i'm so touched by them...

the boys were having their bball tournament...
the girls thought that we were next...
so we practiced at the badminton court with the netball hoop as the hoop...
it was fun!
in the end, we din have our tournament...
we could have used the next period for PJ too...
but it was 4K, sure won't allow us one...
so we sat in class, discussed abt the treasure hunt and just chat...

took MAS flight to Sandakan, Sabah...
reached there late in the evening...
damn dark wei...
had dinner with my dad's side of the family...
we call them (in hakka) :
eldest sister - tai gu
2nd eldest - ni gu
my father
younger brother - yi suk
2nd yunger brother - sam suk
youngest brother - se suk
if it's weird, too bad...
ate quite a lot...

stayed at yi suk/grandmother's house...
hadn't seen them for a lot time...
grandmother still rmbrs me! =')
she's still ok, only she cant see/walk well...
cousins : Augustine, Jonathan, Valerie, Bennerd, Michelle & one more i dunno who...
used Valerie's room for the stay...

went to the funeral parlour the next day...

thursday, day of the funeral...
had to wear white blouse with long sleves & black pants...
so fussy...
lucky i wore pants, if not i'll be the only one wearing skirt...
moved my grandpa into the coffin and put his stuff with him too...
then placed flowers and did prayers before proceeding to the church...
had to do one of the readings for the mass... o.0
cried during the last farewell...
grandma didn't cry but we can tell she was crying in her heart...
she sure misses him a lot...

then proceeded to the cemetery...
first time seeing a real live burial...
it was raining, even worse...
kesian the guys who buried grandpa, their shoes got muddy and wet...
after prayers and burial, they put the flowers that were sent by other ppl on top of the grave...
there's a lot although they gave each of us some to place onto it on our own...
lighted candles and 'decorated' the grave with it...
took pics of others, the grave and with the family...
my shoes were soaked with mud and water...
one excuse to buy a new pair of shoes... =P
rested the rest of the day at home...


the next day, heard sam suk talking to mum abt handphones and stuff...
the whole family was always together the whole week...
went out for breakfast with father, sam suk & se suk...
sam suk paid for everything if nobody proposed the meal or din pay...
how nice! =D
he went back alone first...
he came back with the new phones and gave it to us as a present!
